Safety pinned in, while flat on my back, with a LITTLE pride and prejudice!!

     Always check your new jeans before you leave the store!! If you put them back on the shelf and then later decide to buy them.... BIG mistake!! I'll give you an example why. I went shopping for a new pair of jeans because :) all of mine are getting too baggy thanks to the satanic invention of zumba (another day, another blog). I found this pair I really liked and they were on sale (woohoo), but they were a little darker than what I normally wear. I am a creature of habit! Facing your fears and all that garb is for drunk rednecks. So I put them back. 20 minutes later when I still haven't found anything, I decide What the crap... let's do it!! So I went back and grabbed my size NOT grabbing the pair I had already tried on and bought them. I was so happy with my purchase. I'm easy to please. Well...... I had a photo shoot with the talented Candie Russell and decided to wear those jeans :) Apparently the jeans I left the store with was missing a tooth in the zipper! I also happen to have this habit of not doing my pants all the way when I'm running late until I get where I'm going and it was after I was 45 minutes from my house that I realized this is not good. So my mother had to safety pin me into my jeans. Now did my great friend Candie take pictures of this occasion.... why yes she did!! :) So lesson learned... always buy the pair you tried on!!

     Sooo as a hunting country girl, I have climbed thousands of fences in my 27 years!! I've even climbed fences I wasn't supposed to :) but the point is that I've climbed many. This weekend I decided to climb a tall fence in 4-inch heeled boots. I know what you are thinking... DUMMY!! I would have to agree with you. We were trying to get to this barn where we took some pictures that may or may not be on my author page... depending on if the other location/wardrobe turned out the best picture. Anyway... back to the TALL fence that we climbed over. Going over the first time?? Piece of cake. It was smooth with no problems. We had us a grand time at that barn and then headed back to the TALL fence once again. I went up... no problem!! I went over... no problem!! Even got my picture taken up there! I came down... FLAT ON MY BACK!! I couldn't breathe... I felt dizzy... and worst of all my right foot was numb. And then it wasn't lol! I liked it better numb. It felt like it was a mile back to where I could sit down. But after a few minutes rest, some smart water and a change out of those now dirty clothes, I was ready to go again. 

      I get netflix sent to my house. I think it is the greatest invention ever! Except on the weekend when the mail doesn't run and the disc they sent you doesn't work!! I know I just need to buy the 2005 version of Pride and Prejudice but I can't find it anywhere!! So like every 2 or 3 months, I have netflix send it to me. Well the one they sent me yesterday to watch while I was laid up in bed with ice packs, had huge holes all in the disc. Did I try to watch it anyway? :) yes I did!! It worked good for a little while and then it was horrible. I didn't get to finish the movie, which is what made me the maddest. However, I could tell by looking at the dvd I wouldn't get to watch very much of it but I was still mad!! In fact now that I'm thinking about it... I'm mad all over again. Hmmm... maybe Santa will get it for me. :)
